I got thirsty this morning, and ended up ordering toilet paper. Because this is how my mind works. I'll take you on this journey with me, where I dig myself down into a hole and back out of it again.
While working, I realized I was thirsty. I went to take a drink of my Coke, but it was empty. So I crushed the can and dropped it in the bin, then grabbed a glass to pour some water. That left the pitcher low, but I couldn't refill the pitcher because there was a dirty bowl soaking in the sink and blocking where the pitcher would need to sit. So I needed to do dishes. I emptied the dishwasher and started rinsing dirty dishes to refill it, but then realized with all the bending over and running water that I needed to go to the bathroom.
While I was in the bathroom, I realized the clothes dryer had stopped with my laundry in it, but the clothes were still damp, so I restarted the dryer. I had used the last of a roll of toilet paper while in there, so I got a new roll out from the stash. I had to open a pack to do that, so then I went back to the other bathroom to top up the extra toilet paper in there with the rest of that four-pack. Hmm... now the stash is getting low; it's almost time to get some more toilet paper. I told Alexa to add toilet paper to the grocery list.
So the back bathroom is topped up, toilet paper is ordered, the front bathroom is restocked and the dryer is running. I went back to finishing up loading the dishwasher, including rinsing out the bowl that was soaking in the sink. Once the dishwasher was running and I'd wiped down the counters, then I could fill up the water pitcher from where I had filled my cup and put the pitcher back in the fridge.
Then I could sit down at my desk with a glass of water to drink, which brings us back to where we started about 20 minutes prior, with me being thirsty.

I can't just do a job; everything leads to something else, but I do eventually get all the things done, just with many, many sidetracks along the way. I call that spaghetti-brain, because it's like spaghetti noodles, each process bumping into and getting tangled with the next. But it does seem to work for me. I have to start many things one after the other, all connected, but eventually I close all of them too, usually in the reverse order that I opened them in.
